Elephanta Island

This is one of the most visited islands in Mumbai and well-known for cave temple that has carved out of the rock. Elephanta island can be reached by taking a ferry from Gateway of India. It is now listed as UNESCO world heritage site and maintained by Archaeological survey of India (ASI). This place is acknowledged for bygone civilization and also features a Hindu Cave.

Bandra Fort

Prince of Wales Museum

This museum is also called as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya and overlooks the Arabian sea. Prince of Wales Museum is a wondeful fusion of Indo-saracenic and western Indian style of architecture. It has Jain style of interior on the columns, railings and balconies.
