Jaisalmer Fort

It is also known as “Golden Fort”, “Sonar Qila” and one of the largest fortifications all across the globe. It was constructed by the Rajput ruler Rawal Jaisal in the year 1156 A.D. This fort is made up of yellow and golden sandstone. It is situated on Trikuta hill & represents Rajasthani art and architecture.

Bada Bagh

It is also known as Barabagh and contains a set of royal cenotaphs of Maharajas of Jaisalmer. Bada Bagh was constructed by Lunkaran, son of Maharaja Jai Singh II in the year 1743 and this beautifully designed garden offers great view of sunset as well as sunrise.

Patwon-Ki-Haveli

It is a five-storied haveli constructed by a famous trader Guman chand in the 18th century. Patwon-Ki-Haveli comprises of five small havelis made up of yellow sandstone. This haveli is one of the biggest havelis in Rajasthan and large number of tourists come here every year from different countries.

Sam Sand Dunes

It is located 41 km away from Jaisalmer and an ideal location for desert safari. It is possible to enjoy a jeep safari or camel safari in here. Sam Sand dunes is also famous for Rajasthani folk dance and song around the bon-fire and the tourist has to stay in a tent.
